Has anyone had a screech noise when starting after installation of a new starter ?

Hi.

Brilliant guide.

Starter screech question, above. Nearly all Tegs do it, more so when it's cold. As if the starter is that bit lazy and fails to disengage the ring gear quickly enough. Some members in the past have renewed the starter, but it seems to come back periodically.

Have been looking for the answer to get rid of it for years. It seems as if there is'nt one.
