Got on with some rattle proofing / noise deadening today. Only got as far as the doors, but quite happy so far.

Drivers side, a right old mess. Thankfully no rust or damp in sight :)

Unclipped all the looms, to clean things up slightly and make it less fiddly.

Few little slithers on the inside of the outer skin.

All silvered up.

Looms back in. Was hard finding the holes under the aluminium and gunk!

Passenger door all done.

If I'd spent all day, I'd have probably done a cleaner job, but overall, chuffed. Doors shut reassuringly now :)

Also, are the carbon fibre effect, Panasonic s
50w speakers an option? The holders on the doors, are damn heavy as they seem solid metal!

Otherwise, nice to know everything is very much in order under the covers :)

In the midst of the brewing storm yesterday, I decided to investigate under the carpet. Not 1 sign of rust nor damp. The carpet looks literally new. Floor mats have clearly been installed since new.

Again, chuffed.

Only bad thing, the carpet by the bulkhead has been sliced, seemingly to allow it to be pulled back like in the picture.

More deadening installed in floor pan, put forgot to picture it.

Also found some JDM Ethos under the seat ;)

Good progress :) Might be worth making a progress blog to document all the hard work you are doing :)
