From what I gather. There is only really euro spec, or tdi north.
Both will recommend the other if you live closer from my reading.
There are probably some others, but these are the big boys.

I don't have KPRO but from what I've read Eurospec and Romain, they also have a more accurate rolling road.

There's a guy on the EK9 forum called Aonghus, he runs a tuning company in Ireland called AP tuning. (Aonghus Power) tuning and he's supposed to be very good.

Would cost a bit more as you'd have to cover the costs of getting him over to the UK but he knows a number of different rolling roads where he can do his tuning.

I would thoroughly recommend Eurospec and Romain for Kpro/K100 mapping, Romain is a great guy and very good at what he does. I'm afraid to say that i could not recommend Eurospec to do any other work though as i was not satisfied with how when my RBC was fitted a wiring loom was left extrememly tight almst casuing it to break!

Funnily enough I experienced exactly the same! Romain is great, the work carried out at eurospec itselft, not so much...

You can either send off you ecu to Eurospec, CPL or TDi North for installation, when you get it back it should come with a base map meaning you can drive the car to get it mapped.

Romain is highly recommended in the Honda community he does his mapping at multiple places such as Eurospec and Surrey Rolling road (maybe couple other places)
You also have FLPerformance (who i used and recommend them) which are located in Lower Sydenham.
Few people i know also use Torque Developments International (TDi South - no longer anything to do with TDi North) located in Thurrock.

Will @ RDT all day long - his hub dyno really is the business.

I have heard a lot of good things about Romain, but I'm tempted by TDI South as they also have a proper Hub Dyno setup to see if the dyno really does make the difference, or if it simply is Will @ RDT who has mapped my cars better than any other company I've used or had cars with previous maps on.

I'm highly aware of that but others will be looking at this thread out of interest looking for more places that tune K20 engines.

I'm not stupid or illiterate FYI, haha.

That's where it's going in April mate. They come highly recommended from the Honda / Jap car specialists that do most of the work to my car, Automek.

my advice, steer WELL clear of tdi south, who are clueless in my experience i wouldnt let them change the washer fluid on one of my cars, Romain or Tdi north (who are not associated with Tdi south ) , i have heard Will at RDT is ok too, difference with Romain and Tdi north is the amount of cars they will have mapped compared to any other tuner in the UK,

Since I made this comment a few people have said the same, to avoid TDI South, so I think I will avoid also. I don't know of anyone who hasn't been happy with Will's work. I want to try Romain but a chap I know had his car mapped by him in less than 1 and half hours from a preset map and no road mapping involved afterwards, whereas Will spends much more time perfecting his maps, so although both may be seen as good at what they do, I wonder if anyone will provide as good a service or aftercare as RDT.

I had a 247bhp EP3 mapped by TDI North and it was fairly lame. Great on WOT, but terrible throttle control compared to OEM EP3's and a little jumpy during cold starts.

Of course everyone's experience is different. Based on this forum, Romain is the one to go to, but it depends who these people have to compare him against. One reason everyone might not like Will is that you have to pay for a PDI (pre dyne inspection) before he maps a car, which checks over your cooling system (pressuring, etc), borescope camera inside the head, etc. as he will not map an engine that isn't in a healthy enough state, so I imagine that often people leave with a list of jobs they need to do first.

Cheers

Romain has mapped 4 of my past Type Rs, and many times on each car (as I was changing parts all the time). Always perfect maps with zero issues. After the dyno map he will always do a road test with you and edit on the fly if it needs it.

He will also travel to pretty much any Rolling Road in the south east to map your car.

i guess the difference with tdi and romain is the amount of hondas they map, they will already have some base maps that are close to suit the car mods, rather that starting from fresh everytime, it saves a considerable time, i think will used to post on the forum, but ive not spoken to him for quite a while now, either way, any of them will do a good job
