Decated 2-1 section - Weird sound

Just fitted a Decatted 2-1 section (same as spoon 2-1) and ever since on WOT theres a reaspy kinda thingy noise...I never experienced it before by swapping exausts :?

Its not hitting anything
Its not blowing as Its new gasket...well 98% sure its not blowing
Its not the exaust noise changing
It sounds like resonance in the actual mani

Im not liking it but if thats the sound they make with Spoon 2-1, guess thats it as im not gettin a full mani yet.

I think the Spoon has the same problem, thats the sound it makes, people ate it and end uo changing it. You may have clarified which bit of the Spoon Mani causes the noise though

Yep, my Spoon 2-1 did it.

Swapped it for the BC race header and it went.

My Spoon 2-1 did it too. I quite liked the noise, although the part itself was crap, it cracked and I got rid :roll:

I missed the noise when I swapped it for a Toda though

You can kinda hear it here on idle



gets a bit louder the tingy part under load until 5kish then the usual VTEC noise takes over..

IMO it sounds like a tractor kinda, so im starting to save for a full mani now ](*,)
