Dim Oil Light

Just noticed the oil light come on but it's really dim. It fully bright on ignition but dims and stays on.

Can't see any obvious leaks and oil level is fine...any suggestions???

Apparently that's likely a dying resistor.

make sure the oil pressure sensor is not faulty, then you need to get a gauge on it, no leaks and correct level is and guarantee of oil pressure, it should be around 2 to 2.3 bar on idle

From looking around online the common theme of this fault seems to be wet weather, which was certainly the case yesterday. The pressure switch gets wet and can cause the light to come on. Had a quick look and the area above the oil filter does seem wet, I think this is the pressure switch. I can post a pic later. Either way I haven't had the light come on today so far so not gonna worry too much about it.
