How to replace front Brembo brake pads and rotors in Honda DC5 or Acura RSX with Brembo swap
Difficulty: 2/5
Time: 1.5hr
Tools:
- Hammer
- Nail
- Impact Wrench (you don't need that but it's just easier)
- Pliers
- Screwdriver
- Flat head driver
- Anti-size
- Wrench
- 17 and 19 socket
- Floor jack and 2x jack stands
PARTS
DC5 rotors 45251-S6M-J61
Brembo brake pads 45022-S6M-J52
4x screws 93600-06014-0H

1. Jack up your car and remove lug nuts and both front wheels
2. Remove two screws. You can do it later but sometimes they are sized and you will spend a lot of time trying to remove them. Fortunately, I used anti-sized before so it was easy to remove them this time.
3. Push out two rods by using nail and hammer. Remove metal bracket.
4. Use pliers and pull out two brake pads, you might have to shake, twist a little bit.
5. Remove two bolt on the back of caliper with 17inch socket. Place brembo caliper safe on the side.
6. Remove old rotor.
7. Install new rotor with new screws or you can reuse old ones
8. Apply Brembo grease on the back of pads
9. Install back caliper with two bolts
10. Install new pads
11. Install back metal bracket and two rods
Don't forget about brake pad bedding
