Do facelift and prefacelift use same HID bulb?

Hi Guys,

I did a conversion from prefacelift to facelift (pics soon to come), and im using my original stock ballast and for the new facelift headlights. Do any of you know if they require the same type of bulb or different?

no idea. ask dave Johnson from steels honda he is very helpful and i'm sure will look up the part number for you

he normally checks the wanted section if you put a post there he is likely tosee it.

HID bulb is the same for both,BUT the HID power pack(ballast) is different for pre facelift and facelift

Dave,

Since the power pack is different, but i would think it is still possible to use the prefacelift powerpack to power up the bulbs. I am assuming it is possible, its just that the powerpack will not fit perfectly and some customization is needed. Am i correct?
