Fl has factory alarm and immobiliser but it's not cat 1 so won't pass most insurers.

heavier or not, im sure the factory alarm willl be lighter than the aftermarket ones you pfl boys have to fit to get insured on them haha

While we're on this subject, I've had mine for 6 years and never once heard the alarm go off... do they even work?

Drop the window, close the door, lock with remote.. wait 30 secs for immobiliser light to start flashing.. pull door luck up by hand, if it goes off, you have alarm
