Door Respray

So someone has kindly left 2 deep scratches in the door which will both need to be painted as its down to the primer.

Has anyone had a large panel or door painted? I'm concerned about how it will look. I had my bumper resprayed recently and it's a different finish. It doesn't stand out too much and isn't so bad with it being just the bumper. I worry it would be a lot more noticeable with the door sprayed and blended with the rest of the car. Has anyone had it done and if so how did it look?

Also anyone recommend a good bodyshop for this type of job? Looking around South East area (Suffolk)

Bumpers will always look a slightly different shade to the rest of the body due to being a different material (plastic bumpers / metal body).

I'd be taking it to TGM if you don't know of anybody closer you can trust.

Where abouts in Suffolk are you Mike? A good mate of mine owns a bodyshop in Rougham near Bury St Eds. Very very good painter, just had him smooth and paint my CW bumper and its perfect.
