Hi ive noticed that about 50% of the time when i lock my car i get 3 chirps from the alarm, i checked the manual and it says it does this when theres a door or boot open.
So im guessing that my open/close sensor is on its way out, or may just need a clean possibly?
Im 95% sure its the drivers door.
I looked in the door and noticed a rubber plug about 6" up from the bottom of the B pillar, is this the sensor?
Has anyone had this issue before and know whether ill need to replace the sensor or not?

(BTW, ive not noticed a door open light on the dash when ive been driving or anything, is there a bulb for this?)
