Drivers side mirror not retracting

Hello,

This morning a pigeon was introduced to my drivers side mirror (RIP). Now the mirror will not fold in after pushing the button.

The passenger side still works fine, and there is no visible damage after the bird collided with the car.

Maybe it's become unplugged?

Please advise.

Mine had a funny turn the other day after I folded it in manually..
Try assisting the mirror to fold when you press the button, in then out. That's what I did and it's been fine since..
Worth a try and hope it helps.

The impact has probably damaged the mechanism.

Get TGM to look when you get it serviced.

Get someone to press the button, whilst you listen closely. See if you can hear it clicking, or the motor whirring.

Also, does the glass still electronically adjust?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Hopefully not though.

I might not need a whole unit though..

I'm hoping it's something simple.
