Is there anything i can do to sort this out? or would it be a replacement job? Phoned main dealer and they want £300 for a new one :xaiweb6:

hi take cover off b post and fully retract seat belt (as tho you were a very large person :) ) and vac it out as there may be dust in there then spray the mech with some silicone whilst it is still fully out that worked for me :)

How much needs to be removed mate ive got the top rear quarter panel out at the moment anyway, do the back seats need to come out to get the bottom piece out as it looks like the back seats are in the way??? Hate removing interior trims always think something is going to snap haha

I usually use silicone spray on the belt when they become slow to retract.. Works really well as it drys quick but leaves it slippery.. But not sticky to the touch..
