Eibach pro series coilovers- harsh crash rear

Hi guys everytime I go over a speed hump or similar the back end of the car feels like it just landed after falling 50ft. Shakes up the whole rear with a loud thud and I'm almost just waiting for it everytime I go over a bump and its annoying the hell out of me. Very crashy and stiff everytime it lands is the best way to explain it.

Anybody else have similar experience with these coilovers? Any ideas what to do to sort it ?

Are they preloaded correctly? Have you tried the damper adjustment

Nope havent tried, didnt really want to touch it before getting some advice. How would I go about doing this?

On the top of each shock should be a small dial you can twist to adjust the damper setting. However some you have to turn up to max then back down to soft, for example if u was on 5 and wanted to be on 4 you would have to go 5 to 10 then back to 4
