Yeah I have this set up with the sportline springs and it did transform the drive imo.

I tracked mines recently and what fun it was mate highly recommend a cheeky track day. (I uprated brakes and lines also prior to this)

Enjoy the fun though

Best suspension mod for a road car with our crap roads. I have the same but also uprated the ARB's which makes the handing even better as Teegwa can confirm after Japfest.

Funnily enough I was looking at uprated ones today as I'm unsure if my drop links are fudged so though maybe a good excuse to do ARB's. Was looking at whiteline blade design but they are £177 per bar. Might do it eventually but can imagine its not a nice job for the home mechanic.

Good job Matt, will like to see the pics. I have my oem units ready to go on and replace the coilovers now too. Just awaiting on the delivery of my spoon springs. Where did you go for your FRSU?

Ah right do they really make that much of a difference then?

Dave got the car set up at pro tyre in exeter mate told them the settings i wanted and they set it up to suit really drives so much better now will try and upload some pics this coming week mate. Wanted to go abit lower tbh but with your old 18s i didnt want to have to do any arch work! Your old wheels were a et 38 offset which is what i thought its printed on the back of the spokes. Abit gutted tbh as i took the time to give the wheels a really good clean when my mechanic was doing my suspension and i was just finishing off the last wheel when i nudged it as it was leaning against the wall and it toppled over landing on the face taking some really nasty chunks out the spokes needless to say a few swear words followed haha. So i think the wheel refurbishment is on the cards next!!!
Oh and i still havent sent you my locking nut code have i? i will get that sent off to you!!!

I was going to ask you if you had any clearance issues with the 18's but on the springs you have they are ok I take it? Get us some pics up then mate :)

Gutting about the scratches, sods law that. I was surprised how good condition they were once they were cleaned up actually, it's just keeping them white that's the problem ain't it!

As mentioned, LOVE the FRS!

FYI Pingu, I'm running 18inch works on FRS, perfect fit! It's all about having the correct offset.

davidpingu-No clearance issues mate as its only a subtle drop tbh. The code i thought was my locking wheel nut code turned out to be my key code sorry mate turns out i dont have it after all!

PORTHOS- Just out of interest what offset are your 18"s?

I feel so cheated. Lol

No probs buddy it's no biggy.

Porthos - I was running the 18s Jonah has on a super low setup so I knew they could fit but my arches were rolled and I currently have 2.5 of negative rear camber. Not the most tyre friendly of setups but currently in the middle of swapping over to the oem FRSU and lowering springs.

To be honest I have no idea. You got any recommendations? I did contemplate taking the driv to TGM and getting them to check over the car as I need some advice on my clutch and LSD but if I can find a good specialist nearby it would save me the drive and some petrol money!

I'm not sure either. I'm not driving all that way for just geometry though.. Different for you I suppose if you want other work/info.

Maybe R-Motion worth a phone call? Could go together if you like?..

Last time I spoke with Rmotion they were saying they don't yet have the facility to do it but they can recommend someone. Whether they have since got the equipment I couldn't say. They may well be able to look at my clutch and LSD anyway. I'd like to take a drive down there but I won't have my new suspension on until the weekend after next. Just got the spoon springs yesterday. You don't know anyone with spring compressors I could borrow for half hour do you?
If not I'll get some pay day. Depending on the cost of the FRSU I may not be able to get it done the same time as you if you're looking to get it soon but I still wouldn't mind coming along with you and chatting to the guys. Might be able to get some free advice along with some quotes! Besides which it's a good excuse to finally meet you!

davidpingu-phone a local wheel refurb company today for a quote, they wanted £315!!! Not impressed considering we done loads of work for them back along aswell, So probably end up getting a new set of rims anyway now which is sooooooo annoying considering ive just paid to have a frsu done with these rims fitted!!!!

Anyone know if i would have to have a frsu done again if i change the wheels for ones with a different offset????

Are you still looking at having them sprayed a different colour? If not are you sure they ALL need a refurb?

Either way I wouldn't expect you'd need to pay any more than £60 per rim tops if you look around. Places local to me are between £50 - £60 per rim I'm sure. Adam if you read this can you confirm?
