Long story short. I've had my engine out, changed the head gasket, timing chain/tensioner. Timed it all up, put the engine back in. Plugged it all in, only leaving the radiator, cooling fans and aux belt off. At this point I was ready to go home, so I decided to see if it would start before leaving. It's fired up straight away and ran.
The next morning I go back to the lockup, put the rad and fans on, plug them all in. Fit the aux belt. Go to start it up and it just cranks but won't fire.
I've checked all the obvious things, got fuel, got air, got spark. Took the rocker cover back off to double check it was timed right and hadn't jumped for any reason. That was all still fine. I can't work out for the life of me why it won't start!
Does anybody know of anything like this happening? Any common issues it could be? Any advice what so ever will be appreciated at this point.
