Engine flooded?

It's happened twice in 2 days now both have been after I've just started the car and moved it then try to start it again.

When I try to start it it splutters and cuts out, if I keep the throttle open it will splutter and eventually Rev and run as normal.. Sounds like the engines flooded but strange that it has never happened before. I changed the fuel filter the other day and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that :S

If i am lazy or not concentrating when starting I can flood mine quit easily. It can then be a bit of a pig to start but fine after a second three. .

Id double check all the pipes/ plugs when you changed the fuel filter - sounds like the pump isn't priming properly or something. If it was fine before you changed the filter chances are you may have disturbed something
