Engine hesitation between 5k-7k rpm

Hi,

So basically I noticed it earlier this week on WOT, there was some hesitation starting around 5k and easing off around 7k rpm. It's become a little stronger over the last few days, and basically having spoken with Leejw87 about it he has said it could be any number of things!

VTEC Solenoid? Lambda? Spark Plugs? Fuel Filter?

Is there anything obvious that it could be has anyone had a simlar experience and worked out what it was?

It's overdue an oil change (but not by much) which I'm going to do this weekend. Checking the plugs and hopefully the Solenoid too.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Would start with spark plugs mate, failing that it could also be coil packs?

Changed the plugs, seems to have eliminated it.

Oh and it spat a flame too! B)
