Reading many threads online about de-catting the dc5 !!

I just out a dc sports manifold and decat on my teg and the light has come on?

Now what is the best way O2 simulator or the little extension tegiwa sell?

Ive heard the little extension does the same job as the simulator but half the price, my question is do i need a extension for both lambda sensor or just bank 1??

or is it just worth spending the £80 on the simulator

the sim and extension only work for the second sensor as that's the one behind the cat.

aw right when i plug the car in its coming back with bank 1 so the sensor must be knackered then ?

they can be very sensitive O2 sensors you may have damaged it when you removed it and then refitted it. i know a mate that did this to his dc5

Thanks i think thats what happened, it doesnt bother me that the light is on anyway. wait till i got the spare £175 i think :mellow:

i got mine from rockauto have a search on this forum it was only about £100 and it came in 3 days loads of members use the denso ones as thats all the oem honda ones are anyway

The same thing happened to me when I changed my headers. The upstream front sensor was the culprit but I bought the Denso replacement and no more light
