would an ol surge have done this?
how were you driving it at the time, can you describe what happened?

cant really try to diagnose it with the limited info supplied

Sorry let me give a little more detail....

Xmas eve I had a little spirited drive to the airport and when I got there I stopped for some fuel. Immediately when I started the car the light came on. The next day after I was driving it went out so I ignored it.

Yesterday I went for a drive but nothing too hard and the light came on :( vtec seemed to be working and I gave it a good hard drive but as I got near home I think I lost vtec :?

What causes an oil surge? Tom @ TGM advised reseting the ECU

I had my engine light come on, then it reser itself, I've had a few electrical problems wth my car that I have put down to a Gremlin.

Anyways, you can check out the code yourself:

Once you know which cel was thrown then you can go about fixing it.
Superb!! I'll give that short method a try tonight :D

We should make that sticky :!:

Thanks mate
