Results from EVO mag's 2012 (so 2011 tyres) tyre test. Cars used where a 4wd S3 and a FWD Golf (for the aqua planning part) and in 18" guise;

Wet Handling:

cant believe the goodyear assy 2's were in 3rd for wet handling. good info though should be made a sticky.

To be fair, the Goodyears posted the 2nd fastest time in wet @ 47.9, with Conti's in @ 47.5 but Evo rated the tyres in that order.

Also the tyre size used was 235/40/18 and on an S3 (variable 4wd) and a Golf.

If i was looking for a dedicated track tyre, i wouldnt be looking at the above unless i was running a set of 'wets' and where to be used in general day to day driving

And the mag was released in Feb 2012

if the info was complete i would consider sticking it, if you get time fill in the rest of the data, ie, conti ......what model....etc
