Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield

My manifold heat shield is Rattling/Vibrating and doing my head in while car is idling. Was wondering if I just removed it would there be any potential problems on down the line by not having it?

I had my Mugen manifold fitted, there is no option to refit the manifold and I've had no problems

I've a j's racing manifold on mine mate and ever since its been on, the heat shield hasn't been right. Think I'll just remove it then

you will get hot feet that is all when the exhaust heats up . I have a rattling shield that need to be removed also.

My heat shield corroded on the mounting points and started rattling (OEM Manifold), It was removed about 3 years ago now and I've not seen/had any adverse affects.

Hi.

Mine cracked across two stud holes and was annoying. Fastened a big penny washer over the cracks. Its been ok since.

I have no idea if I have fitted or not but I suspect I haven't.
