Eye bolt lengths

Hi all,

Are 7/16" eyebolts the ones we should use for harnesses (fitted to back seat anchor points)?

I've just bought a pair of second hand Willan Harnesses, but the owner is keeping the eyebolts for his next harness set.

yes, 7/16 UNF is the actual thread size,

they come in a few lengths, usually 20mm. 32mm and 50mm, the 50's can more expensive tho depending on the supplier.

Thanks Si. What length would you recommend for my application?

- Standard interior/seats although I may swap the seats out at a later date.

I'm interested in this too as about to order some cheaper (though would love takata) harnesses.

I guess they don't come supplied normally?

You should get some eye bolts with a new set of harnesses. If not then some with 20-25mm thread will do the job.

As above and if you are in the unusual position I was in, you can get them cheap off ebay Ed

As above i got 7/16" UNC, 20mm long with mine.
