Facelift DC5 Immobiliser

I'm just about to start looking into quotes for my insurance renewal.

With my first DC5 (a pre-facelift) I needed to have proof an alarm immobiliser was fitted. I now have a Facelift though and was told by the trade seller this wouldn't be needed as the car has a factory immobiliser built in.

I thought I'd check before calling around - when insuring your Facelift DC5 has this satisfied the insurance companies? If it is ok I assume they would have it on record that the car has the immobiliser fitted?

They'll ask if its factory fitted. If its an upgraded alarm and immobiliser then you would need to provide them with a certificate.
