Facelift DC5 - Strut Brace

any of them, as long as you modify the car! The facelift has 3 bolts per side from the exhisting strut, the pre facelift has 2. So when we fitted a Cusco brace we removed the bolt nearest the bulkhead to get a smooth fit, using a dremmel. Of course then you cannot refit the OEM strut. J's do a facelift strut bar that fits, but not as strong as a cusco.

Yes this is what i have found that there is a third strut bolt. Dont want to really be modifying the OEM strut.

Looks like i might have to sell the Spoon one then and get a J's Racing

Nah, just fit one to compliment it! I was always under the impression it was OK as it goes to the bulkhead and the struts unlike most retro fit ones.

I think Carbing to a 4 point brace but I cannot think of anymore.

well i have the original oem strut too, and i put on top a greddy 3 point one...now the car feel far more stable, cause it connect to the dampers.

i'm just saying is having a oem alone is not enough!!
