FaceLift Dials

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone has fitted Dials from the facelift DC5 into a pre facelift. Is this an easy job to do and has anybody on here done it to there DC5.

I think it can be done just wondered if anyone as done it.
I have managed to find a couple of pics. You should be able to see the diference.

The electronics in the facelift and different to the pre facelift on the motherboard, not sure if the connections are different.

ah ok, not sure if there would be some sort of adapter you could use or how easy it would be to wire up.

I don't think they will work on the pre facelift, might be wrong but they are different. Saw some on egay a few moths ago

your looking at about 400 GBP for a used second hand set if you can find any. I don't think they will work on the pre facelift, might be wrong bu they are different.

Isn't that a pic of the RSX dials? No Type R logo and it has Mph on it.

Yup, they are not the JDM ones.

different plugs at the back of the dails. already tried it.

the only way is to get the plugs off the facelift and switch them around. but every body i talked too were talking cutting the wires at the back. so i gave up on that plan cause one off the wires they had to cut would of been the speed pulse cable which would off been a bad thing to be honest. use might have better sparks over in the uk so if any body wants the dails to try it just drop me a pm. think i paid 180euros including postage. so any offers welcome.

You have to re wire to fit the face lift cluster into the pre face lift.

I think you can buy the harness adapter from ebay US.

I will try and find the DIY on it soon.

had a quick look on ebay but couldnt find anything, if anyone manages to find anything that would be kool.
