Fake airbags.

Just been on national news regarding a bloke down Dorset way who has been offering fake airbags for sale.

Disturbing bit was a typed advert showing airbags for Honda's available.

Very worrying for any one, including Honda enthusiast's who might have been duped.

What's fake about them? Is it just an empty package or something?.

The bags were functional, but being sold as OEM. Didn't have the same quality control as OEM and could go off prematurely or not at all.
It was Honda UK that reported the trader to Trading Standards.
