Fitting Injen/AEM CAI to RBC

Evening all!

Just ordered an Injen CAI and an RBC inlet. Has anyone fitted this combo before? If so how did you find the best way of joining the 2? Can the supplied silicone joiner be chopped about to be made to fit properly etc? Or is there an alternative?

interested in this too as ive got AEM CAI and hoping to get an RBC or skunk2 inlet in the future

Not sure about skunk 2 mani but if you want rbc u need to cut a bit from the aem pipe which connects to mani and replace it with rubber corner, not the one that comes with the aem filtre. maybe you can find some sfs hose.

My solution was to cut the pipe on the straight section, and then use a straight rubber connector, so that the elbow could be rotated to match the RBC/RRC. Just a warning that is can push the pipe back so that it interferes with the gear selecotr counter blance - this was easily solved by cutting a bit off it.
