Flat battery.

Hi all can anyone tell me why trying to start my teg after a couple of weeks stood in my garage unlocked with alarm off the battery goes flat, this also happens to my mates civic.
Any ideas?

Probably because it's due to be replaced.

The cold weather also has an affect on battery drainage.

Get it on charge, or on a re-conditioner.

If you don't have access to either of those, Jump it, go for a good long drive and try to drive it at least once a week for 10-15 miles or more to keep it topped up and in good order.

Mine went in late 2016. as soon as the cold weeks hit the battery went from starting every time to dead in 2 days even after a good charge. Replaced it and no problems through 2 winters since even after 2 weeks between starts. It's probably just time to replace it, they're pretty tiny as far as batteries go so it's not very expensive.
