Hi Guys,

I am not so clear on how FRSU works or how to get the right set up done or where inside London i can get this done, if someone could kindly explain how it all works would appreciate it!

I am currently running 215/40/17 with slight stretch on 8.5J Rotas so would i need to change tyre size to get a FRSU done?

My car is also lowered on Buddyclub N+ Coilovers.

Thanks in advance!

In order to carry out a FRSU you need the following parts at a minimum:

  1. Lowering Springs/ Coilovers
  2. Rear camber arms
  3. Front camber bolts
Once these parts have been fitted you can get a fast road (geometry) set up carried out, which I recommend you use a specialist. As you're in an around London I recommend either TGM in Fleet or FL performance (not sure if they actually do FRSU's). With this they can dial in the camber, toe, adjust the ride height (in the case of coilovers) etc so your car handles at its best.

Hopefully that helps.

What reggie said :)

Curious, Why are you running 215 tyres on on a 8.5" wheel? Seen people here with oem wheels running 215 and that's only 7"! Would've thought your car will ride better with at least 230+?

I was wondering the same. I'd run 225/45's at a minimum. Unless he's going for that stance nation/ slammed look.

I thought you could still have the FRSU without the springs? Well that's what TGM said to me anyway.

You can but you will still need the camber bolts and rear camber arms - but it is a little pointless without lowering the chassis as I'm pretty sure the OEM setup is fine.

Any garage that can do alignment can do the setup providing they are willing, just get some geometry off here and ask them to set it.
