As strange as it may sound, could anyone post a pic of their fuse box uncovered? I was looking in mine yesterday, and it looked like one was missing.

Thanks.

 Have you got the C-Pack on your car? If not then the missing fuse may be something like the rear wiper that isn't there?

(yes I know that sounds like double dutch! )

ok thanks. I am definately missing a fuse.
Are you certain? I think some of those slots are just fuseholders for spare fuses.

I believe the underneath of the fusebox cover has a list of what fuses are where.

The two fuses with the red outlines are the ones I'm missing.

I couldn't decipher what they were for, using the image on the back of the fuse cover. Anyone know their purpose?

That narrows it down:

20A fuses under the bonnet:
- Cooling fan
- ABS Unit
- Left Side Headlight
- Right Side Headlight

15A fuses under the bonnet:
- Front position light / rear position light
- Emergency blinking pilot light
- ECU
- Horn / brake lamp
- MPCS unit

Then of course they may be spares? It's like a jigsaw puzzle!!!!

For the 20A - The abs light comes on when the cars starts . DOes this rule it out?
Both headlights are working.

Perhaps it's teh cooling fan?

15A fuse:

What's the front position light /rear position lamp?
I assume the ECU is working since the car starts.
Horn and brake lamps are working.
What is the MPCS unit?

Sorry, I can't really go any further - as I said its a bit of a jigsaw puzzle and I don't own a DC5 anymore so its not like I can nip outside and check!!

I'm sure someone else on here has a better idea!!

Look down these fuse holes, have they got metal contacts? Shine a torch down them, if they don't, then they're spare fuseholders.

If not certain pull a known circuit fuse out and compare that slot to the 'empty' ones.

Alternatively (last resort) you could put the same rated fuses into yours as per the picture.

3 ideas! Whew!
