Gathers Audio?

Just bought a fresh import DC5 and it comes with a Gathers head unit and cd disc changer in the boot, I'm going to get rid of the head unit for a UK spec one but wouldn't mind keeping the changer, is there any make out there that will be compatible with the Gathers connections?

Why not just buy a usb radio and remove everything else? you can rip the audio cd's to usb easily

I know, thats the plan but if I can leave the disc changer in aswell would be a bonus

After a bit of research Ive found out that Gathers are actually made by Kenwood if anyone else was wondering.

A Kenwood headunit should marry up then providing the Gathers changer has the updated plug on it.

Kenwood updated the cable design and protocol about 10 years ago.

I had a gathers head unit in my car. It said Clarion on it who make head units for Peugeot. Confusing?!
