gearbox oil

i replaced my gearbox oil with the original honda one that cost me 120 pounds for 5 litres but my 2nd gear is grinding again and is difficult to change from 1 to 2nd.is there a better oil that might improve this?what gearbox oil do u use?

i had the same problem same as you before i changed to honda mtf oil but now its much better once ive changed to honda mtf (manual transmission fluid) gearbox oil but i still get it in the mornings especially when the gearbox hasnt fully warmed up yet being notchy from 1st going into 2nd, you'll have to bear with this because its the gearbox charicteristics in these cars. What i do now is warm the car up for over 5mins and if its still notchy i just change from 1st to 3rd. When its fully warmed up it should be ok :lol:
