I would like getting Geometry alignment for my DC5 with FRSU (Eibach adjustable camber arms and camber bolts) around Oxfordshire.
Do you know any shop familiarised to FRSU for EP3/DC5 in this area?

My DC5 got geometry done on top of other works at TGM's partner twice in the past, but this time I just want to find out any shop doing it in my area? Please help. Thanks!

I second what John said.

Had TGM, and Area do my alignment and both times didn't feel right, then realised they both didn't bother adjusting my camber properly. (my back left was at 1.5 deg camber and my back right was 2.5 deg!!)

Went to a local garage who had a hunter kit and told them what adjustments i wanted and the car was spot on.

I reckon it is not easy to find the local garage with hunter kit , Let me check and ask around. Thanks!

The guy I use is mobile and based near me in Kent if you'd be interested in a price I can ask him? He can come to you or you to him and he is spot on (you can see his work on my build thread, does full corner weighting etc also (which I had done and uses the old string method which can't be wrong ever if done correctly)

He has a history of working for a number of race teams and race series so knows his stuff.

Good point but you know what I mean, as in it's the most accurate method which is why race teams globally and even F1 teams still use it

Thanks for your help. It is not close from Kent to Oxfordshire. But it would be great to know someone doing it with mobile van.

Have asked two local garage this morning, they don't even know what is hunter kit. So, I need to show the youtube link to explain further. LoL

I have asked them before but no reply. Let me try again. Thanks for reminding me this.
Give them a call. Russ is a very helpful guy, so I'm sure he'll be able to give you some advice.

Hond-R's Russ replied me kindly. He said he does not any garages that specialise in suspension set ups in this area.
He advised me "just Google search 'suspension set up Oxfordshire, unless I don't mind travel further.

May I ask how other members got Eibach Camber bolts and rear arm adjusted? Very curious to know whether that any garage know how to adjust them as common sense, or something that need special skill.

The place I went was recommended by a local caterham specialist in Maidenhead The person who adjusted my camber arms etc couldn't have been older than 20 and he managed fine. Just find someone with a hunter alignment kit and good reviews on google and you should be fine.

Camber bolts are easy and simple to fit and adjust, they just turn nothing more, but getting the exact amount of toe and camber and things set perfect will require a specialist and proper setting up.

I would say go to any garage that can do a geo and tell them the settings you want based on your cars use

Could you consider maybe going to Honda themselves if you're that worried? Johnsons Honda Oxford, not sure if that's nearby or Modurstang, Jtech Automotive - Garage (just a couple of companies with good reviews I found on google in a matter of seconds).

Failing that/those maybe drive further afield, for reference my cars at TGM, 75 miles each way for that journey for me and use them a lot, my geo was done by my mate however as I said before and he can do mobile work so if you want a price I can ask him as he quotes based on what's needed and distance of travel etc.

Just looked and if you are based in Oxford you're actually closer to TGM than me in both miles and time so I would head there or to a garage nearer that others have used :)

Thanks for your advice, which is helpful Let me ask the local garage I used for the alignment of my commuting cars. If they cannot do it, sure I would ask you for the contact. Thanks!

Hi all,

I have finally sorted the geometry in Northampton Motorsport (about 1 hour driving one way).
They are professional and specialist in that with proper hunter kit like pro align system.

All of you are right!! The precision/accuracy have given me much better feeling in steering control. Before this, I have felt the tension on the wheel in straight road and cornering.
Now, I have felt "very comfortable and natural" now. Words cannot describe easily but I can feel the wheel is lighter, and turning is more precise.

Thank you very much for all your advice and input.
