! Handbrake light coming on during Ring lap

Ok, I was pushing pretty hard at the Nurburgring on most of the corners but one in particular I was going into at a pretty consistant speed and direction with a good deal of hard braking to third gear, this would bring on the hand brake warning signal every time.

No adverse effects to the handling, brakes would have been hot so would it be the rear pad(s) sticking and then releasing as it went about 10 seconds after I accelerated away.

I am running standard rear discs and EBC Green Stuff pads.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be most welcome!

as far as i no the handbrake light sensor is in the car. u could just have a lose cable or something

i would say low brake fluid warning mate, it is on the cupra r's

It's your fluid mate. My CTR did this just before I boiled it.

Yep, low fluid....Keep it topped up a bit more :wink:

Ok, I will have another look but I check all my fluids once every week when the car gets cleaned and I checked all fluids prior to going on the track and off when cool.

I will top it up just to be safe, thanks guys :wink:
