Hard Wiring a Snooper / Road angel

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has done this (or a road angel) and how did you do it?

I thinking of splicing into the back of the power outlet (not sure which is positive / negative). Also what is the easiest place to feed the power cable from the snooper to the back of the outlet?

Any help much appreciated!

I've wired in my TomTom and integrated the mount.

I took the power from the cigarette socket. Centre connection being the +ve and side being the -ve

I would also use the lighter socket as the draw will not be too much,
BUT you must fuse the +ve wire youtake from the socket to the accessory rating depends on the device

As above, out of the back of the cig socket with a in-line fuse. That's how I did my Origin B2

Easy job.

Just dont forget the fuse.

You can run the wire up through the dash and out of a small gap on the right hand side just where the pillar meets the dash board. Then tuck it in along the windscreen bottom round to where you need it poking out.
