Hazard Switch - removal

I need to get the hazard switch out on a DC5 and just wanted to know how?!!

I know the stereo surround comes out but it seems to be stuck in quite firmly on this car. Is there a certain way in which to get this out?

IIRC just pull the dash out, unplug it and it should just unclip from the back

The dash part that houses the switch is what I'm not having much luck in pulling out.

How would I do this? 🤔

Pop the panel off that holds the power outlet, remove the two screws that screw into the bottom of the head unit if they're fitted then put your hand up the back of the head unit and push the whole unit and surround forward, switch is screwed onto the back of the surrounding panel with 2x screws.
