When driving home from work this evening my offside headlight has gone pink.

Does anyone know if this is a problem with the HID amp or the bulb?

If it is the bulb does anybody know the details for replacements?

I try to contact David from Steels about this monday morning

James,

I have a mate who has just fitted HIDs to his scooby, he is a bit of a technical whizz so I have passed on your question to him. :)

Update.

Saturday evening turned the headlights on, the drivers side flashed a few times then nothing.

After giving it a good dose of looking at managed to get the old bulb out losing skin of the knuckles in the process.

Nasty grey patch in the middle of the bulb suggests it has blown.

Managed to find a company on line who have dispatched two new bulbs to me this morning at a cost of £170

Will have to take the bumper off to get to the headlights in order to change the bulbs.

Know what I will be doing boxing day

James

PS Honda part number for bulbs is 33116-S7A-003 but I get them here

they will be hids', or xenons or gas disharge, all the same thing and yes the lamps are expensive, but should last a long time
