Heat wrapping manifold!

Was wondering what peoples opinions on heat wrapping a manifold is? Is it worthwhile doing or has anyone benifited much from doing this? Wasnt to sure if it might crack/damage it with it getting too hot ect..?

I had the manifold wrapped when I bought my car and it did seem to keep engine bay temps down but no idea if it was any good for the manifold keeping all that heat in.

I've got my manifold heat wrapped... Hasn't given any trouble so far.. Not sure how much it benefits the engine temps.

have had wrapped manis on several cars, and only ever had benefits . certainly not had any more noticable corrosion
