Hi guys and girls

My heater won't work on any setting, doesn't blow air at all. Had a quick search and can't find a great deal. Wondering if anyone could point me in.the right direction. Is it most likely going to be fuses or something more?

Thanks alot in advance

Chris

It'll be the resistor if the fans are completely dead (or stuck on any speed)

This is what i'm having an issue with atm, i believe it to be the resistor, honda want £80 for a new one, but from what the web has told me, ep3 ones work fine at alot cheaper, and easier to find.

If i can't fix mine with the £2 thermo fuses i've ordered, i'll get an ep3 one too.

Cheers for the responses guys gonna try the cheap fuse first but will definitely keep the scrapyard in mind if the fuse doesn't solve the issue.

Thanks alot

I'm friends with a great Honda mechanic and mine is going to Honda next week suffering with the same problem. If you'd like a confirmation of the possible fault/s I'll keep you posted....

Seems to be a common problem occurring currently given the age of the dc5.

Tom.

Hi mate

As mentioned by a few members it was the resistor. All works perfectly again

Once again many thanks to those who helped.

Honda dealer mate. quoted my chassis number and they got one. Same as an Ep3 and Crv resistor I believe.

Okay but arent you paying a lot for a new one ?

edit: for some reason I cant quote
They're about 80 quid. Depends how much you want working heaters...

Try find a breaker with an EP3 then

Dc5 definately needs heaters/fans in rainy weather or moisty mornings!

Yep, asking around now. Thank you
