Just graduated and about to get first 'grown' up job - woo-hoo (as they say in the Simpson’s), and of course I want to get myself even more hideously in debt by buying a completely unpractical and un-necessary sports car!
I totally love vtec engine, and Honda’s legendary reliability / build quality. Have driven the current civic type R which was a lot of fun, but last week I finally got to take out a 2000 Integra type r, (are these called GF-DC2?) and now I am borderline obsessed! That sweet, sweet v-tech zone is frantic, and the sound track is my kinda heaven, I knew it was going to be quick but I was still amazed at the high revs, and the massive acceleration, and of course the great chassis and grip.
Haven’t had a chance to drive the 2001 car yet, and feel a bit guilty taking out cars I blatantly can’t afford – but I didn’t see Ian Litchfield’s one at trax, Silverstone, and it looks awesome, if I had the cash I would defo get one, but think it’s a bit out of my price range really as I am going to get raped by insurance anyway because of location / age / lack of NCB, so they probably wouldn’t even quote me for one anyway. Still it’s nice to dream!!!!!!
I will probably be asking you guys advice on above purchase decision, but will do it in the appropriate section.
