Help Please!!

Hi,

I should be going tomorrow to view a DC5 and have ran a HPI check on it. On the report it states that the VIN & VRM do not match. (VIN No: DC5 10****1

Could this be because its an import as I had a problem before with my Evo 6 which stated a colour change when it never had one!!

Do you already know the VIN number on the car? If there's a different number on the log book compared to stamped in the engine bay then I would stay well clear mate.

My DC2 was classed as an XL250 motocross bike. :shock: #-o

They havn't got a clue mate. :shock: :x

Correct me if im wrong but on mine its stamped at the top of the engine bay directly under the windscreen and its written on a metal plaque on the drivers side I think!!

Yep at the back of the engine bay stamped, thats the main one to check IMO.
