help with a claim

as some ppl know, a dc2 was stolen in enfield recently, this was danielles car if anyone knows her.

the police have already closed the case, which is undertsandable as they dont have any evidence and are most likely not to get any more.

the insurance company have asked for alot of documentaion ie log bok, cat 1 certificate etc etc, however they have also asked for 2 sets of keys. when my mate bought the car over 7 years ago it only came with one set, he then sold the car to me, and i have sold the car to her. is not having a second set of keys going to afect the claim in anyway?

Hi Ian,

as I said on the phone, the insurance company will be asking for for the keys to show that the keys were not left in the ignition when the car was lifted. If you only have one set then just explain that to hthe insurer, it really shouldn't cause a problem.
