Ok, I've got no passenger side dipped/ or full beam. Checked the fuse and it was fried. Changed fuse but still no lights. Could it be a relay? Nipped wire etc?

Have you tried the bulbs as these could have been fried also? Swap them from the drivers side first to rule them out.

havent had a chance, but now my drivers is flickering and not coming on at times? plus no dipped or full beam dash lights. im not using the car but must dig deeper to get this fixed. bit of a headache.

That sounds to me like a mouse was chewing wires somewhere, I'd take it to an auto electric place before it goes up in a ball of flames.

possible, but unlikely, its just since i got it back from the painters, i would say hes hosed the engine bay down. but none the less im leaving it with mechanic/auto spark as you say
