Honda MTF3 vs Redline MTL

Hi there,

I've been using MTF3 and been pretty happy with it. However, since I'm from Australia, it's actually quite expensive for me to buy it from UK and shipping it down under. Shipping cost as much as the fluid itself, so I'm paying twice the money for what MTF3 is really worth.

In Australia we only have MTF06 from Honda which like MTF2. It does the job but it's not feel as good/smooth as MTF3 and don't trust it to hold up for some occasional track days.

So I'm looking for an alternative to MTF3 but should be better than MTF06 and yet cost effective. I am wondering if anyone had any experience with Redline MTL and would be good to know if it is on par with MTF3 if not better.

Thanks,
Peter.

Personally i'd stick to the MTF 3. Its not like it needs changing frequently enough to worry about the extra cost of shipping.

If you use any M factory gear components then they recommend Torco MTF which I've used for many a year
