honda recommended oil??

been doing a bit of searching on what oil to put in my newly acquired 5!
was going to go with motul300v 5w40 but cant find it anywhere local!

what oil does honda reccomend??
is it castrol maganatec??

We have a search button at the top, these questions have been answered before its a 9 year old car now. :xmad:

i did find it difficult to find which oil when i needed a top up too... search doesn't bring up anything too specific... if you type in 'which oil' you get no matches and 'recommended oil' the top matches are about skiing, induction kits, this topic and my recently created topic. It was difficult to find for me too.

Lol, funny how people get funny about what oil to use.

I'm pretty sure mine is on castrol sport 10W60.

I think honda uses 5w30, but i thought i heard somewhere they also use 0w30...i wouldnt use that since it's very thin.
My advise is Silkolene Pro S 5w40, but u can also take 5w30 or 10w40
just make sure it's full sythetic!!

and trust me now magnatec, it's crap!!
