Just a word of advice :shock: When changing to another ECU from the OEM one. The new ECU will be more agressive and will not have the protection functions of the OEM ECU
The two functions that come to find are, at high RPM the Honda unit over fuels to protect the engine from damage, also when the engine gets very hot, it retards the ignition again protecting the engine :?
To help combate these effects, the advice I was given, was to fit the lower temp Thermo/Fan Switch with a diff rad cap :roll: Thesse help to reduce the normal running temp of the engine.
