how does the 1200kg of the teg compare to other cars

The answer is your alot lighter and lighter than the Supermini class too. Most hatches are 200kg more nowadays :shock: Weight is a killer for speed,response,braking,cornering, everything etc.

I like what Audi have done with the new fwd TT. It weighs in at 1250kg, losing 200kg from the older model. its a far nicer drive because of it and is rated highly too.

The cars in that list must have had to pass EU crash tests whereas the Teg wouldn't?

Cars are in general are getting fatter these days and a lot of manufactuers are turning to bigger engines/turbos to make make up for the extra weight.

FN2 = 1338kg
S2K = 1250kg


Not sure about the FD2 though :?

FN2 is a bit Lardy! Not sure the S2k weight is correct any more as it's had a considerable amount of gubbins added to it over the years but it wont be far off
