How to change the rear badge?

I couldn‘t find a how to or any description of how to change the rear badge by searching the forum.

Can anyone who has done this tell me how to do it as I don‘t want to do any unessesary damage in the process.

I‘m presuming that the plastic boot trim needs to be carefully removed to access and unscrew a couple of fixings on the back of the badge?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Heat it up with a hairdryer to soften up the adhesive, and then it should just come off with your fingers. Failing that get something soft to pry it off. Tooth floss works too.

There‘s two locating pins on the back of the badge too.

But basically it‘s nothing too major.

As above I used tooth floss to sort of saw through the adhesive worked a treat then used a bit of white spirit on a rag to remove the adhesive residue left on the paint

I just popped mine off with a flat head in a rag.
