Sorry if this has been covered soo many times but i just wanted to ask a few questions that will satisfy me lol. i just bought a dc5 and I noticed in one of the receipts that the driver side door actuator was replaced. Now The alarm locks the drivers door but not the boot or passenger door. However when sat inside the vehicle when using the button next to the door handle it closes the passenger door and boot but not the drivers door. Does this mean I have to change the passenger side actuator? Would appreciate if you could help :)

Anyone around London who you can recommend me to go to? Ir shall i take it to honda anc let them do the work? Thanks all

If anybody could help with this one then I'd like to know the answer too as I've just bought kahn_v's DC5 and would like to get it fixed. Is this likely to be an alarm fault or actuator? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm no specialist by any means but it sounds to me as if it's to do with the way the alarm has been wired in. I don't know much about it but all I do know is the alarm should be wired up to the drivers door switch so that everything locks. This may be a job for an auto spark unless anyone else has come across this fault and can advise

Yeah I may have to take it to an alarm fitters for them to have a look at it. I presume that if the switch that looks the doors is operating the passenger door and boot then it can't be the actuator and the fault lies with the alarm.
