Inside fuel filter

I Just changed the fuel filter on the girlfriends ep3, to get practice in before doing mine lol. And once I had the old one off i smashed it open to see how bad it was inside, safe to say it has probably never been changed. I'll drive it later to see if it feels any better, and can't wait to do the teg now lol.



I didn't get a photo of the new one but you can just see inside it and the filter/paper element is white.

Is that the in-tank filter you changed?

Yeah thats the one.

I did mine yesterday, and this is the color of the fuel that came out of it



The car feel's so much nicer to drive now, much smoother, and low down power has definitely improved.

Took me 20 minutes to do, and cheap from honda, So totally worth doing if it hasn't been done.

Nice mate! What is that inside the fuel pump/ filter case? Black foam baffle ?

Its meant to be white lol, but i think its like a paper filter, not really sure.

Right i know where you are now. Just by the looks of the picture I thought it was the bottom of pump case! 😆
